Onassis's Story

Onassis talks about his experience in working with the orphans of Negros. Onassis is 28 years and a CBC (Cebu Bible College) graduate. He currently works with the Downtown Church in Campus Ministries.

"our trip to negros last week was indeed heart moving and life changing, our almost 4 hours bumpy ride with scorching heat from the sun was indeed worth it after seeing the smile from the orphans knowing that their need was taken care of. just to see them smiling (sam boy and his brother) even with their current situation, one of them is even at her young age of 14 (jane) is living by her own because her father left her when he marry other woman, theres even brother and sisters of 9 who has a traumatic experience of losing their love ones. seeing them with my own eyes and able to talk to them change my perspective in life, we are so bless by God having a family we can call our own. I know that time God is telling me and my friends who has given the privileged to go there with the simpson that we can really make a difference by allowing ourselves to be the channel of Gods blessing to them, it is always my prayer that God will continue to use Doug and His family to be His instrument of Love. may God also continue to bless those people who is supporting this ministry through their resources and prayers. I believe by faith that God is really being glorified and lifted up. thanks Doug and lisa for inviting us. this is something i always treasure in my heart."
