40 Days of Prayer for Lilia's Place, Post 2

Dear Prayer Warriors,

Thank you for continuing in 40 days of prayer for Lilia's Place. One prayer I have heard Doug pray regularly is that all the efforts for Lilia's Place be done for the glory of God. Looking at Jesus' prayer in John 17 there are at least two things that we know glorifies God:

1. When we as believers become like Jesus... when our compassion for the Filipino orphans is transformed into the likeness of the compassion we see in Jesus

2. When unity is seen among the Body... when we understand that Lilia's Place is bigger than not only the Simpsons, but bigger than Sugar Grove and even bigger than our identity as the Church of Christ. The success of Lilia's Place will come as we partner with believers all over the world, letting sacrificial love and offerings transcend any sectarian spirit that alienates and divides.

Please read Jesus prayer in John 17 this week and pray for Lilia's Pace to bring glory to the Father.
